Volunteering

The Vancouver Island Military Museum has been a volunteer-run organization since its beginnings in 1986, dedicated to helping us preserve history and engage with the community. Currently, we are looking for Front of House Volunteers to greet visitors, handle ticket sales, and guide the public around exhibits as needed.

Every new volunteer will receive orientation and training. You do not have to be an expert in Military History.

If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to commit to at least one 4-hour shift a week, are reliable, able to work as a team, and have a passion for history, then please contact us to learn more.
